Terms of Service

HyTribe app · Last updated: 24 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the HyTribe app. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them, especially section 4 on health and safety.

1. Who we are

HyTribe is run by Reece Procter, a sole trader in the United Kingdom, trading as RP Hybrid Performance ("we", "us"). Contact: reece@rphybridperformance.com.

2. Who can use the app

You must be 18 or over. Give accurate information when you sign up and in the questionnaire, because your plan is built from it. Keep your password private: you're responsible for what happens on your account.

3. What the app does

  • Self-guided: a training plan written by AI that follows our coaching method, rewritten each week from your check-ins, logged sessions and feedback.
  • Coached: the same, with each week reviewed and approved by Reece, in-app chat (replies within 24 hours), and a 30-minute video call each week booked through our booking page. Coaching spots are limited: it starts with a free intro call, and you can subscribe once we've agreed it's a good fit. If all spots are taken you can join a waitlist.
  • Race calculators: free race-split estimates, available without a subscription.

AI-written plans can contain mistakes. Paces, loads and targets are estimates from the information you give us. Use your judgement, train by feel, and don't follow an instruction that seems wrong for you; message us instead.

We may change, improve or remove features. If a change takes away something important you've paid for, we'll tell you and you can cancel.

4. Health and safety

The app gives general fitness guidance, not medical advice. It isn't a substitute for a doctor, physiotherapist or other health professional.

  • Check with a doctor before starting if you have a medical condition or an injury, are pregnant, or haven't exercised for a long time.
  • Stop and get medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain or unusual shortness of breath.
  • If you tell us about an injury, plans work around it conservatively, but we can't diagnose or treat it. Get it checked before you train through it.
  • Exercise carries a risk of injury. You take part at your own risk, within the limits of section 9.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Buying in the app. Subscriptions bought in the app are sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), under their terms as well as these. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

PlanPriceFree trial
Self-guided monthly£9.99 / month7 days
Self-guided yearly£79.99 / year7 days
Coached£129.99 / monthNone (free intro call first)

Founding members and testers. If we offer you a founding-member price or complimentary access (for example for helping test the app), we'll tell you the price and how long it lasts. Complimentary access ends on the date shown in the app and doesn't renew or charge you automatically.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. A free trial turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

Cancelling. Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings (the app's Profile screen links there). You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.

Refunds. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we can't issue them directly. Your legal rights as a UK consumer are not affected.

Coaching paid for outside the app. If you pay us directly for coaching, the price, billing and cancellation terms we agree with you apply to that payment, and we unlock Coached on your account while it's active.

Price changes. We'll tell you before a price change applies to you, and the stores will ask for your consent where required. You can cancel before it takes effect.

Your right to cancel. Under UK consumer law you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital service. By starting your plan straight away you agree that the service begins immediately, which affects this right. The free trial gives you time to try it first.

6. Using the app fairly

Don't misuse the app: no sharing your account, reselling plans, copying or scraping the app or its content, trying to get around the paywall, or abusive messages in coach chat. We may suspend or close an account that does.

7. Your content and ours

What you enter (answers, logs, check-ins, messages, feedback) stays yours. You let us use it to run the app and coach you, as the Privacy Policy explains. Your plans are for your own personal use. The app, our coaching method, its text and the app's name and logo belong to us.

8. Availability

We work to keep the app running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. It relies on services from others (app stores, hosting, AI and messaging providers) that can have outages.

9. Our liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
  • We aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for injury that results from ignoring the health guidance in section 4 or training beyond what's safe for you.
  • We only supply the app for personal use. We aren't liable for business losses.
  • Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the app and delete your account any time (cancel any store subscription separately). We may end your access if you seriously break these terms, giving notice where we reasonably can.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the app or the law changes. We'll tell you about important changes in the app or by email before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring a claim in your local courts. Please contact us first at reece@rphybridperformance.com: we'd much rather sort it out directly.
